Personality: 

Catra has been hurt and abandoned so many times that it is very difficult for her to allow herself to become/remain close/open with anyone. She lashes out, choosing to hurt rather than be hurt, pushing others away. This can lead her to be callous and cruel, especially to the people who try the hardest to be kind to her and refuse to be pushed away.

She is resentful and distrustful, but still craves that belonging so badly, and relives that loss each time her lashing out finally drives those around her away, not seeing what she's done until it is too late.

There is a feeling that she has been in the shadows, never good enough for anyone, no matter how hard she tries, and Catra will stop at nothing to prove everyone wrong for doubting her, sure if she does she'll finally feel that peace she's been seeking. That worth. Her relationship with Adora has always been marred by this competitiveness, and jealousy, whether upset by being outshone by her, or afraid of being replaced whenever Adora comes close to making a new friend.

There is a playful side to Catra, thrill seeking and teasing, she liked to play wrestle and race, and bend the rules where ever she could when she was younger, and as she grew older that playful nature turned darker as well. She taunts her foes, and delights in toying with them.

There's real darkness inside Catra, and she's done terrible things. She tries to ignore whatever guilt she feels, plagued by a sense of worthlessness, and so much anger at the world. Right now, she is prepared to take everyone down with her rather than admit she was wrong, determined never to apologize, even if she knows in her heart she is wrong.

Abilities: 

Catra is stronger than a typical Etherian, and especially agile, very gymnastic in her fighting.

She is well trained in fighting and tactics and not afraid to fight dirty to win. She's taken down countless enemies who outpaced her physically by attacking strategically, and lead the Hoard to victory over much of Etheria.

She has enhanced hearing, smell, and sight do to her cat like physiology, as well as retractable claws that have been shown to cut through metal and stone.
